Tomorrow is Record Store Day, and unfortunately Sunshine Daydream Chicago was unable to secure any of the limited edition releases that are coming out tomorrow. We suggest that you check out
www.recordstoreday.com for other Chicagoland area record stores that may have some of the limited edition releases for sale.
We tried and ordered many of the record store day releases, but we weren’t shown any love from the record companies for these limited releases, not even for the Grateful Dead or Phish vinyl releases. I guess we don’t move enough music to warrant getting any of the limited record store day releases.
We do have some free jamband compilation CDs to giveaway. Some of the bands on these CDs include Drive By Truckers, Michael Franti, String Cheese Incident, Umphrey’s McGee, Phish, & Toubab Krewe just name a few. These jamband compilation CDs are free while supplies last, and only at
