The elves at Sunshine Daydream are working day and night to get your orders out, but the sooner you order, the better. Supplies of many items in our web store are limited this year, and once we run out, that's it until after the new year.

Orders will now have to go via Priority Mail to make it in time. In stock orders placed by 4 PM Central, will ship the same day. We're located in the Chicago area, and can get your order to you quicker than some of the other guys. We have 3 pickups a day from the post office, so the earlier in the day that you order, the better chance to get it out on the earlier truck. Priority shipping and our Midwest location, put us on either coast in just a few days. Priority Mail is a 2-3 day service, but is NOT guaranteed, although they have been pretty good this year, with our packages at least. The only guaranteed way to get your order is by choosing express mail. It's a 1-2 day service and IT IS guaranteed. It's also very expensive, but no one says to wait till the last minute...

We also offer FREE priority mail shipping on all orders over $100.

Be sure and check your spam or junk folder in your email program. Our order confirmation emails often end up there. You can also add us to your safe senders list and that will solve the problem.

Record Store Day Black Friday

Black Friday Record Store Day is coming up next week. Also known as Mini Record Store Day, or Record Store Day Part 2, whichever you prefer, its a great day to shop at your local record store and get your hands on some limited edition vinyl releases by your favorite artists.

Sunshine Daydream will open at 9am on Friday November 28th with sales throughout the store and lots of special RSD vinyl records. These are limited edition pressings by many different bands. The complete list of what is being released can be found here. This list does not mean that we will have all of these for sale in our shop. As our allotment of Black Friday Record Store Day releases are just starting to trickle in and we have several different distributors shipping to us, we will not know everything that we have for sale until late Wednesday. We will post our list of available titles on our storefront door and on our facebook event page sometime on Thanksgiving day.

We are an official Record Store Day Participating Store, but because we are a smaller shop, we don't always get all the releases that we want (but we do get what we need...LOL), so we have some rules for our shop on these Record Store Days. Out of the titles that we do receive, we may only get 1 copy of a certain title or we may get multiples. 

There is a limit of 1 of a title per person and a total limit of 3 Black Friday Record Store Day releases per person. We have these limits in place, as we don’t have a ton of these releases and want to give all of our customers a chance to get something they want. It's Rocktober, and it's time for the next 2 vinyl releases from the Widespread Panic album catalog, Ain't Life Grand, and Everyday.

Back in July, their debut album, Space Wrangler and their 2nd album, self titled Widespread Panic (Mom's Kitchen) were released on pristine vinyl 2 record sets. Sunshine Daydream still has a few copies of each left in stock. 

Everyday is the third studio album by the Athens, GA based band. It was first released by Capricorn Records and Warner Bros. Records on March 3, 1993 but was never released on vinyl. The band recorded the album at Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in Sheffield, AL, and was the group's first to feature band mate, John Hermann. Order your copy here.

Ain't Life Grand is the fourth studio album from Panic. It was first released by Capricorn Records and Warner Bros. Records on September 6,1994 and like Everyday, was never released on vinyl. The band got minor airplay for their cover of Bloodkin's "Can't Get High," as well as their own "Airplane." The band begun rehearsing for the album by recording pre-recording sessions at John Keane's home studio like their first album, Space Wrangler. They were so pleased with the results that they decided to use the sessions for Ain't Life Grand instead of going into the studio on a future date with their producer Johnny Sandlin. You can order your copy of this album right here.

Widespread Panic has begun to reissue some of their back catalog on vinyl, and Sunshine Daydream has the first two titles available to order. Some titles have never been released on vinyl before. Their debut album, Space Wrangler was just reissued on vinyl on July 15th. Originally released on Landslide Records in 1988, and again on Capricorn in 1992, Space Wrangler broke ground on what has become almost 30 years of music. 

Their second album, self titled "Widespread Panic" was released by Capricorn Records/Warner Bros. Records on July 30, 1991 and re-released in 2001 by Zomba Music Group. This title was never officially released on vinyl. This ttitle is also available to order, and will begin shipping on 7/28.
