Here's how to win: 

1. Follow Sunshine Daydream on Instagram: www.instagram.com/sunshinedaydreamlz

2. Post a photo on Instagram of you and your favorite Grateful Dead or Pink Floyd item. It could be you with a record, t-shirt, sticker, tapestry, poster, or anything with either of those bands. 

3. Tag it with both   and .

Remember, if your account is set to private we will NOT be able to see the photo and you will not be entered. Please make sure to change your account settings to public for the duration of the contest. 
All valid entries will be commented/liked by the SunshineDaydreamLZ Instagram account.

We are having a facebook contest and giving away a $100 gift certificate to Sunshine Daydream. We are less than 100 "likes" away from 5000 on our facebook page. When we hit that milestone, we will randomly pick 1 lucky fan of our facebook page who will win a $100 shopping spree at our hippie shop. Spend it on tapestries, CDs, Tie Dye, Posters, Stickers, the possibilities are endless (Well, up to $100 endless). It can be used in our store or on our website at www.sunshinedaydream.biz. Logo Design Contest

Sunshine Daydream needs a new logo and are looking to you for help. We want to use this logo in our advertising, on our website, and possibly t-shirts and other advertising and promotional specialties. In exchange for the logo design, the winning design will receive a $250 shopping spree from Sunshine Daydream, and if we ever make any promotional goodies with the logo, we’ll send you some of that schwag too. Contest ends 11/30/10. Winner will be notified by 12/10/10 and will be posted on our website, here on our blog, and on our Facebook page.

Let your imagination and creativity flow. We prefer a logo that will look good in color as well as in B/W.

Our name “Sunshine Daydream” must be incorporated into the logo. You may but do not have to include our address or website.

What are the submission requirements?

VECTOR ONLY - No Photoshop; use Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw etc. (Final artwork submitted in EPS with fonts converted to outlines)

NO CLIPART - this includes ISTOCKPHOTO, SHUTTERSTOCK, etc. (even if you have purchased a user license)

NO TRACING OR VECTORIZATION OF INTERNET CONTENT OR PHOTOGRAPHY Exceptions: 1) You own FULL copyrights to the image and have not used it before and agrees to not use it again

IMAGE DIMENSIONS - 350x280 px or (width/height ratio of 1.25:1) in JPG, PNG, or GIF format.

ONE CONCEPT PER SUBMISSION - Example: if you want to show a logo in red, blue, and yellow, create and send as 3 separate files.

NO WATERMARKS - your design firm or other.

IMAGE CENTERED - horizontally and vertically with sufficient spacing all around.

If your design is chosen as the winning logo, you MUST be able to submit  the design to us per the specs above to claim your prize.

Winning design becomes property of Sunshinedaydream.biz, and winning designer agrees to transfer any and all rights to the submitted design and copyright, that they hold, to Sunshinedaydream.biz. Winning designer may use logo for their own portfolio or advertising showing the work that they do.

Non-winning designs – Ownership of non-winning designs remain with the person who designed them.

Include your name and phone number (In case we have a question about your entry design), and attach a jpeg of your entry design. All submissions should be low resolution JPEGs (72dpi) for judging purposes, but winners will need provide 300dpi (or higher) images: JPEG, PNG, or GIF .

We are having a 12 days of Christmas contest and giveaway on facebook. Everyday, someone on our facebook page will win. 12 days of Christmas - 12 winners in all. Here's how it works: Each day, go to our website and find something you wish to find under your tree. It can be anything we sell. Tie Dye, stickers, tapestries, incense, if we sell it on our website, you could win it. Post what you wish for on our facebook page with a link to the item on our website, and each day starting today at 11:00pm, we will pick someone and they will win their wish. Now the fine print: You must be a fan of our facebook page to win. Each day you must pick something different and post it to our facebook page. You can only win 1 time during the whole contest. Make your wishes reasonable. The economy sux and I am not giving away $50 hoodies for 12 days straight. I might for 1 or 2 days though. If you win, you can pick your prize up at our store. Today is Friday the 13th, and it's gonna be a lucky day for one of our Facebook fans. Someone is going to win a copy of the new game Grateful Deadopoly. This new game is like Monopoly, only Grateful Dead style. You can buy cheap motels, and trade master recordings of the Dead. The folks that created this game, really outdid themselves. This is one of the best Grateful Dead items that we have seen in a long time.
